Five years after Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, members of the band KISS, started a rock-themed restaurant chain called Rock & Brews, the two Hall of Famers are expanding operations by entering the casino industry. They’ve partnered with Kaw Nation to open a casino resort under the Rock & Brews brand in Braman, Oklahoma, which is 15 miles south of the Kansas state border. A groundbreaking ceremony will take place on January 12, and will be attended by Kaw Nation chairwoman Jacque Secondline Hensley.

Stanley and Simmons have 14 Rock & Brews restaurant locations, including one in the San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Highland, California. The casino direction isn’t too surprising. Stanley and Simmons got their feet wet when they partnered with WMS Gaming to launch a KISS-themed slot machine in 2014. A casino resort is a natural extension for the two entrepreneurs.

Similar to the restaurants, the Rock & Brews Casino will stay true to the rock ‘n’ roll theme that made the brand so popular with diners. With digital displays enhancing the non-stop rock tunes, casino patrons will feel like they’re at a show while playing their favorite casino games. Face paint not included.
