Cowboys, Vikings, axes, revolvers, and a 6x8 cluster grid have somehow agreed to share the same game. Repeated wins can turn cells into growing Multipliers, Dig up effects can uncover Wilds and Boosters, and Free Spins keep those powered-up positions alive between rounds.

How to Play Vikings of the West

Look for clusters of at least 5 matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. Winning symbols disappear, fresh ones drop into the gaps, and the board keeps refilling as long as new clusters continue to form. Cells that keep getting involved in wins can build Multipliers, starting at 2x and increasing by another 2 with each qualifying hit up to 10x. If several boosted cells join the same win, their Multiplier values are added together.

Vikings of the West Game Highlights

  • Cell Multipliers: A cell that contributes to a winning cluster for the second time becomes a 2x Multiplier cell and can grow to 10x. Multiple active cells can combine their values in the same payout.
  • Dig up Features: After winning symbols disappear, the empty spaces can uncover Scatters, Sticky Wilds, Boosters, or Destroyers, so a finished cluster can immediately create a new problem for the grid.
  • Sticky Wilds: Wilds can stick through a refill sequence and gain 10x for landing on an active Multiplier cell, with further contributing wins pushing them as high as 100x.

Game Review of Vikings of the West

Vikings of the West has absolutely no interest in explaining why a longship crew has wandered into cowboy country. The 6x8 board is already busy enough with axes, revolvers, bearded raiders, frontier gunslingers, and clusters exploding out of the grid.

The Cell Multiplier system is what gives the game teeth. Repeated wins on the same positions start marking territory, and suddenly you are not just watching symbols drop, you are watching particular cells become increasingly valuable. Then the Dig up Feature starts rummaging through the wreckage after a win, uncovering Sticky Wilds, Boosters, Destroyers, or Scatters. Boosters can push every active Cell Multiplier higher while loading Wilds with extra value, and Destroyers can wipe the low symbols off the board entirely. Free Spins turn the whole thing feral. Cell Multipliers stay active between spins, triggering Scatters can become Sticky Wilds or 10x Multiplier cells, and Sticky Wilds can climb all the way to 100x. Somehow, putting Vikings in the Wild West ends up being one of the less chaotic things happening here.
