Things got a little hot under the collar during last Monday’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers won the game 23-20, but they dropped the cash as 6-point road favorites, and linebacker Ryan Shazier is still in the hospital with a possible spine injury. Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has also been suspended for this Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, kicking off at 8:30 PM ET on NBC. Despite the setbacks, Pittsburgh is a 5-point favorite on the NFL lines at press time.
Here are some other key divisional matchups on the Week 14 NFL odds board, plus an important battle between divisional leaders, all times Eastern:
Thursday: New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons (8:25 PM, NBC)
New Orleans (9-3 SU, 8-4 ATS) has taken a one-game lead in the NFC South with nine wins in their last 10 games at 8-2 ATS. However, the Falcons (7-5 SU, 5-7 ATS) are still in contention after winning three of their last four games SU and ATS. The Saints are 2-point road dogs on the NFL betting lines.
Sunday: Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (1 PM, CBS)
The Chiefs (6-6 SU and ATS) have lost four straight SU and ATS, while the Raiders (6-6 SU, 4-7-1 ATS) have won three of their last four at 1-2-1 ATS. Kansas City is a 4-point favorite with a total of 47; sunny conditions are expected at Arrowhead with temperatures around 45 degrees at game time.
Sunday: Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams (4:25 PM, FOX)
They didn’t get the job done last week, but the Eagles (10-2 SU, 9-3 ATS) can still clinch the NFC East with a win over the Rams (9-3 SU, 8-4 ATS), who are one game up in the NFC West after going 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven. Los Angeles is a 2.5-point favorite in what should be an excellent football game.
Monday: New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins (8:30 PM, ESPN)
Tight end Rob Gronkowski has been suspended for the Patriots (10-2 SU, 8-4 ATS), but they might not need his services against the slumping Dolphins (5-7 SU, 4-6-2 ATS), who are getting 11.5 points at home and desperately need a win over their AFC East rivals to stay relevant in the Wild Card hunt.
