Golf Betting Rules
1. All Golf Futures have action, whether the golfer completes the event or not.
2. Outright bets on players that have not tee’d off are void and wagers are refunded.
3. Head-to-head bets on players that do not tee off are void and stakes are refunded on both players in the head-to-head matchup. If there is a tie, all bets will be void.
4. If a tournament is condensed or otherwise altered, the official result will be used when settling wagers, regardless of the total rounds played.
5. An event must be completed within seven days of its start for wagers to have action.
6. For PGA head-to-head wagers, the player who finishes the most holes will be graded as the winner. However, if both players complete the same amount of holes, the player with the best score compared to par will be the winner. Both players have to tee off for wagers to have action.
7. For 3-ball wagers, the player who has the lowest score in the round will be settled as the winner. All players must tee off for wagers to have action. If two or more players tie for the win, the “Dead Heat” rules apply. Refer to Rule 11 in our General Sports Betting Rules for more information.
8. The option “Field” in a list of odds featuring players represents all other players not specifically listed in the event. If a player who falls under field wins, field is the winner for betting purposes.
9. If there is any reason a player is disqualified after a completed round, all bets on the round will be graded as a loss for that player.
10. The Dead Heat Rule: A rule where two winners tie when you have a multi-outcome prop or event. If Dead Heat is declared on any event, half the risk is added to the bet and the other half is lost. If more than two arrive at a Dead Heat, the risk is proportioned accordingly (this does not include sports like soccer, where you can wager on the draw or tie option).
11. A player is deemed to have competed (or played) once they tee off. If a player withdraws after teeing off, then the risk will be a loss on outright, group, match or 18-hole betting.
12. On 2-ball wagers, where odds are not listed for the tie, wagers will be “void” if there is a tie.
